In partnership with ASU faculty members, review sessions are offered for a variety of subject areas before exams. Using class content provided by the faculty, tutors knowledgeable in specific subject areas host the session using content from the class. The sessions are designed to help students in a specific class work together to study material and concepts in preparation for tests. Students should also come prepared with their own questions.
Review sessions provide an opportunity to review concepts at certain points in the semester, including before certain exams. The schedules for review/study sessions vary by campus. Mini concept refreshers are 3-5 minutes and are focused on a particular topic. The refreshers are on concepts that you might be able to learn and review asynchronously and are designed to prepare you for Review Sessions or exams. Watch these refreshers before a Review Session and then come into a Review Session with questions. The refreshers will get updated throughout the semester as your course continues. Larger Concept Refreshers are offered at the start of the semester. They provide a refresher for key math concepts that are used in ASU Math, Science, Business, and Engineering courses.
