Camp registration is open to any ASU student who is currently in a graduate certificate, master’s degree, or doctoral degree program or who will be enrolled by Fall 2018. The camp is intended for ASU graduate students who want an overview of the academic and research writing demands of graduate school.
The camp aims to introduce master’s and doctoral students to the foundational skills needed to succeed as a graduate-level writer. Students will learn about the stages of the writing process and about the habits, strategies, and techniques that successful academic writers in any discipline use throughout the writing process. This camp is intended for a general graduate-level audience and provides the underlying foundational skills that can be applied to discipline-specific writing.
Please note that if you have already reached doctoral candidacy or are writing a doctoral prospectus, we recommend that you select one of the Dissertation Writing Camps. If you have any questions about which camp is best for you, please contact Nathan Cushing at 602-496-0364.
