University Academic Success Programs (UASP) is committed to supporting graduate students during their time at ASU. In addition to providing graduate writing and statistics tutoring, UASP offers unique summer camp experiences in June for ASU enrolled graduate students. For Summer 2020, all three summer camps will be offered online using Canvas and Zoom.
Facilitated by UASP’s Writing Center staff, these camps guide students through the process of writing at the graduate level. Combining both instruction and support, the camps provide skills and strategies that prepare graduate students to navigate the demands of graduate-level writing.
The Success in Graduate Writing Camp provides opportunities for ASU enrolled graduate students to learn more about the academic writing and research demands of graduate school. The Dissertation Writing Camps provide opportunities to support ASU doctoral candidates and ASU dissertation prospectus writers in achieving their writing goals.
The Success in Graduate Writing Camp is a week-long interactive series of instructional sessions designed to assist graduate-level ASU students in developing and enhancing academic writing and research skills. The camp will be held online June 8-12, 2020 during the hours of 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day in Arizona time. A $50 program fee is required. Graduate students enrolled in any ASU graduate certificate, master’s degree, or doctoral degree program are eligible to register. A limited number of scholarships have been provided by the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA). Students who register will be notified if their fee can be covered by the scholarship. At this time, all scholarships have been awarded, and the scholarship process is closed.

Students may register for one or both of the camps, and there is a $50 program fee per camp. Doctoral students who have reached candidacy or who are currently writing their dissertation prospectuses are eligible to register. A limited number of scholarships have been provided by the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA). Students who register will be notified if their fee can be covered by the scholarship. At this time, all scholarships have been awarded, and the scholarship process is closed.
